to the website of FBMTT, the Fundamental Baptist Mission of Trinidad and Tobago and the West Indies. FBMTT is dedicated to taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of the Caribbean Islands. We are committed to assisting nationals to reach their own countries for Christ through evangelization and the planting of New Testament churches.

As our name implies, we began as a ministry that seeks to reach the country of Trinidad and Tobago, and that remains our primary ministry today. But, as our name also implies, we have a vision of spreading the Gospel throughout the West Indies. We hope that this website will make those who come here more aware of the ministry of FBMTT and of the needs and opportunities to impact The Caribbean for Christ.

Mission News

 

10/2008 - A construction team from Colonial Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, VA worked on building an outside wall for the Baptist Seminary of the West Indies. Many thanks for all the work they accomplished.

 

01/2009 - A construction team made up of people from various U.S. churches will be coming to Chagaunnus to assist in putting up the steel frame for Chagaunnus Fundamental Baptist Church’s first permanent church building.

Mission Needs

 

· Another $20,000 is needed for the initial phase of the construction of the church building of The Fundamental Baptist Church of Chaugaunnus, Trinidad. This phase starts in Janurary 2009.

 

· There is a need for a paid part-time accountant for the mission to assist the Treasurer with the finances. Please contact Ron Dillon or Rev. Ken Best if interested.  See “Contact Us” section of the website for contact information.
